Ring sizer
Find your size in about a minute. No printer, no tape measure.
1 Which phone are you on?
Screens differ, so the page needs to know yours before it can draw a circle at true size. Pick your model and that’s the setup done.
We can’t size a laptop or an unlisted phone accurately, so the circle is off the table — a ring drawn at the wrong scale is worse than none. Use the paper-strip method below instead; it works with any ruler.
This screen isn’t the size a should be, so you’re most likely on a different device. The circle only works on the screen you’re actually holding, so it’s off the table here — use the paper-strip method below, which works with any ruler.
2 Lay your ring on the circle
Put a ring that already fits over the circle and step through the sizes until the inside edge of the ring lines up with the outline.
2 Measure your finger
- Cut a strip of paper about 6 mm wide, or use a piece of string.
- Wrap it round the base of the finger — snug, not tight. It has to pass back over your knuckle.
- Mark where it overlaps, unwrap it, and measure to the mark.
Lay the strip against any ruler and read off the millimetres.
Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are at their largest, and skip it if your hands are cold.
